The Knight's Heart and the Empress of Stars
I.
Your eyes sear through me,
Taking the breath from my lungs,
My heart set to flame.
II.
Let storms turn to sun,
May every clover bear four,
And life treat you fair.
III.
Closets and shadows,
Secrets to hide, tell me yours,
And I'll tell you mine.
IV.

scarred by the whip of hatred:
The master—myself.
V.
Dust flutters in air;
light enraptures the moment
gone in a second.
VI.
Got a one track mind,
It's stuck on repeat, repeat,
Won't it ever stop?
VII.
A hole is in me,
I fill it with nothingness,
I drown in its pools.
VIII.
Time cracks, thoughts ending,
Heart breaks in endless longing,
Soul dies, fires burning.
